Professor Ihsane Ben Yahya started her two-year term as President of FDI World Dental Federation in September 2021. She has been an FDI Council member since 2013 and is the dean of the Dental Faculty at the Medicine University Mohammed VI of Health Science in Casablanca, Morrocco. She has served on numerous committees, commissions, juries, and boards throughout her career in dental medicine. As a professor of Higher Education on Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery working in different institutions in Casablanca, she has trained generations of dentists. Professor Ben Yahya is also a member of the French National Academy of Oral Surgery and the Pedagogic Coordinator of diplôme universitaire de technologie (DUT) in Dental Auxiliary.
