Chima Amadi is a pharmacist and also holds a Masters degree in Global Public Health from Newcastle University, England. Chima has over 8 years of experience in health workforce development having worked at various organizations such as the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria, National Health Service and National Institute of Pharmaceutical Research. He won the W.H.O Afro COVID action award for public health surveillance innovation in Africa during the COVID-19 pandemic. Chima is a global lead on pharmacy workforce policy at the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). He is also a member of the Global Health Workforce Network and Faculty of Public Health.
