Dr. Khan is the Regional CEO of the Aga Khan Health Services (AKHS) in East Africa. AKHS operates five hospitals and 50 outreach centres in Kenya and Tanzania, has 2,100 employees and cares for more than 1 million patients annually. Dr. Khan is also the Global Head of Quality, Clinical Programs, and Projects for AKHS and a Consultant with Joint Commission International.

She is a global healthcare leader with expertise in strengthening healthcare systems, hospital and nursing administration, quality improvement, patient safety, and facility development projects across East Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East.
