Dr Maureen Momanyi is Health Systems Specialist (Community Health lead) and a global champion for community and primary health care (PHC) based at UNICEF HQ. In her current capacity, Maureen works with governments, regional and country offices, and other stakeholders to institutionalize national community health programs for expanded PHC with a focus on integrated, multi-sectoral models tailored to address priority child health needs. Prior to her current role, Maureen was UNICEF ESAR’s regional Community and Child Health specialist, before that shewas working with the One Million Community Health Workers (CHW) Campaign, Columbia University, as Deputy Director.
