Dr Delphin Kolié is a young medical researcher from the Maferinyah Research Centre in Guinea. He has six-year experience in health policy and systems research, including health human resources. He is currently doing a PhD with the Institute of Tropical Medicine of Antwerp in Belgium to assess health workforce reform strategies and their implementation that can improve health system resilience in the context of recurrent epidemics in Guinea. Dr Kolié has participated in several research projects including the assessment of the rural pipeline implementation and effects in sub-Saharan Africa, the design and implementation of the post-Ebola health system strengthening interventions in Guinea, and epidemics governance in Guinea. Dr Kolié is fluent in both French and English. He has co-authored 20 publications in PubMed.
