Sulakshana Nandi is State Convenor of Public Health Resource Network (PHRN) in Chhattisgarh, India and co-chair of People’s Health Movement’s (PHM) Global Steering Council. Her work of over two decades spans community organizing, capacity building, advocacy and research with focus on health equity and social justice, health systems strengthening, social and commercial determinants of health and governance and accountability. She works in the state of Chhattisgarh, supporting organizations, particularly of community health workers and indigenous communities, in their struggles for the right to food, health, land and gender equity.
