Baba Aye is the Health and Social Sector Officer of Public Services International (PSI) which represents 30 million workers. He is also a Co-president of the Geneva Global Health Hub (G2H2) and Co-secretary of the Health Workers for All Coalition. Before joining PSI, he worked with the Medical and Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) as Deputy Secretary General, and pioneer Coordinating Secretary of the West African Health Sector Unions’ Network (WAHSUN). An eco-socialist, poet and contributing editor of the Review of African Political Economy, Baba fights for a better world where health comes before wealth and people over profit.
