Dr Aula Abbara is an Infectious Diseases physician and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College, London and Chair of the research committee at the Syrian American Medical Society. Her research interests include attacks on healthcare, AMR in conflict, refugee healthcare workers and, more broadly, relating to global and humanitarian health. She co-chairs the Syria Public Health Network, and is Education co-lead for the Syrian British Medical Society and chair of Health Professionals for Global Health. She leads modules and lectures for the MPH at Imperial College, London.
