Ellen Kuhlmann, PhD, MPH, specialised nurse, is based at Hannover Medical School, Germany, where she is leading a project on health workforce migration in the German global health program (GLOHRA). For the spring term, she holds an interim professorship of health and health systems at the University of Siegen, Germany. Ellen is President of Health Workforce Research section of European Public Health Association. Her research focuses on comparative health policy and systems. Currently she is working on the migrant health workforce during COVID-19, violence against healthcare workers, health workforce resilience, and SDG5/gender equality.
