Dr. Laura Magaña is President & CEO of the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health. She has over 35 years’ experience leading the transformation of organizations and academic institutions. Dr. Magaña has strengthened ASPPH’s global reach and is founding chair of the Global Network for Academic Public Health. She has led ASPPH in strengthening academic public health research, launching the academic public health leadership institute, and amplifying academic public health’s voice through advocacy. Her portfolio features publications about technology in education and public health education. She frequently presents on issues such as health equity and global public health.
