Mr. Dixon Dimiri is the Manager for Health Workforce Standards Branch within the National Department of Health of Papua New Guinea. He is responsible for spearheading the country’s health workforce staffing norms and standards. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Papua New Guinea and master’s degree in international public health and Health Management from the University of New South Wales Sydney-Australia. Mr. Dimiri has is keen on health system strengthening and HRH development. He has championed the implementation of workload Indicators of staffing need (WISN) at the national and subnational levels.
