Dr Tana Wuliji advises on strategies to align and stimulate investment and policy action to strengthen the health workforce for universal health coverage and health security at the World Health Organization. Tana formerly led the establishment of the World Health Organization Academy between 2018 - 2021 to support millions of people with state-of-the-art lifelong learning to achieve health impact. She is a health workforce expert, researcher and policy advisor and has led large-scale international programmes for 20 years and has worked in 15 countries in the African, Eastern Mediterranean and Western Pacific regions.
