Dr Claudia B. Maier is leading the research group on nursing and health workforce research at the Department of Healthcare Management at Technische Universität Berlin. She has over 15 years experience in conducting international research on HRH and nursing. She has worked in various international organisations and in Germany. Her research focuses on interprofessional skill-mix, nurses in advanced roles and improving work environments in hospitals. She is a Deputy Editors of Human Resources for Health Journal. She is Senior Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing, and Senior Fellow at the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies.
