Barbara Nanko is a registered Principal Nursing Officer currently employed by Ghana Health Service and working at LEKMA Hospital as an Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Focal Person. Her core duty is to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all staff of the hospital and clients who seek services from the hospital. She holds a certificate in Emergency Nursing Techniques, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a master’s degree in Occupational Hygiene from the department of Biological, Environmental and Occupational Health at the University of Ghana, Legon.
