Ms Sujatha Rao is a former Union Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. She was Board member of The Global fund, WHO, and UNAIDS, the Global Advisory Panel of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; the Public Health Foundation of India and the Advisory Board of the Ministerial Leadership Program of the Harvard School of Public Health. She holds a MA from Delhi University and a MPA from Harvard University, was a Takemi Fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health and the Gro Harlem Brundtland Senior Leadership Fellow at HSPH. She authored the book ‘Do We Care? India’s Health System’.
