A registered nurse, and advance practice nurse, health planner and public health policy specialist, Ms. Bell is the Deputy Director of Hospital Services and Allied health and the Chief Nursing Officer in Belize. she holds a Master's Degree in International Science of Nursing and is undertaking a Doctorate in Public Health Policy.  Ms. Bell's interests are in strengthening the nursing profession, planning workforce policy management and improving the quality of services and health care. She is the Chair of the Nurses and Midwives Council of Belize, Caribbean Regional HRH Commission and an executive member of the National Council on Ageing.
