Pia Schneider is a Lead Economist with the World Bank Group, working on health reforms in Eastern and Southern Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. She received her Ph.D. in health economics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK), and holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Basel (Switzerland).
