Evelyn Boy-Mena is a Technical Officer with the Gender, Diversity, Equity and Human Rights Department of the World Health Organization. She currently leads the coordination, support, and provision of technical expertise on gender and health in the programmatic and corporate work of the WHO. She is actively engaged in UN mechanisms dedicated to gender in which WHO participates through the GRE Department, mainly: the Inter-Agency Network on Women and Gender Equality and the UN Gender Focal Points/Focal Points for Women. She was recently elected as a UN GLOBE coordinator for the WHO, advocating for and representing the interests of LGBTQI staff.
