Dr Yusufi Salomuddin Jaborovich is the head of the Department of Medical and Pharmaceutical Education, Human Resources and Science of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan. He began his career in 1992 as assistant of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Organization of Pharmacy Economics of the Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibni Sino. From February 1995 to February 2008, he worked as the head of the Department of Injectable Medicines of the Pharmaceutical Factory of Dushanbe; head of the Main Directorate for State Supervision of the Quality of Medicines and Medical Goods of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tajikistan; chairman of the Committee "Tajik pharma industry" under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tajikistan; head of the Department of Pharmacy and medical goods of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tajikistan; and, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibni Sino. From February 2008 to September 2012, he was the head of the Department of Science and Human Resources of the Ministry of Health. After that, he worked as Vice-Rector for Science of the Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibni Sino. He has been member of the executive committee of the WHO European Region. He published in international journals, participated in several international conference, and received several awards and recognitions.
